TechSchool Students Design & Arts Exhibition Evening | Fri 26 Oct 2018 | 6pm– 8pm @ TechSchool Avondale Campus
Our Design & Arts Level 3 students displayed their creations at a free, open-to-public event at TechSchool Avondale campus. Some 60 students from the first cohort featured a range of work from paintings, digital art, sculpture and graphic design, showcasing some of the key learning outcomes of the Design & Arts programme.
The level of enthusiasm matched the quality of the amazing work and Hahn, a veteran digital artist and D&A tutor at TechSchool was pleased with the efforts from students and commented that “The exhibition was a great opportunity for students to express their creativity using industry-standard digital tools. A great starting point for any one who wants to pursue a career in digital media”.
Creativity and critical thinking go hand in hand. In the digital age, creative professionals and enthusiasts alike, have more freedom to think outside the box and capabilities to bring fresh, new ideas to life. Careers in digital media, illustration and graphic design are only expanding with better access to technology. More and more businesses are becoming more aware of the importance of branding and storytelling across a wide range of media - print, digital and social. Strong, clean and modern branding with down-to-earth storytelling enable businesses to connect with their clients better, quicker and build rapport over time.
TechSchool at NZSE is aligned with this vision and promote constant learning, in and outside the classroom. Our programmes, like New Zealand Certificate in Design & Arts Level 3, are offered in smaller, focused learning environments by experienced tutors like Hahn, to prepare our students for the industry. With our expanding network of industry and academic partners, TechSchool aims to deliver high quality learning outcomes while providing on-going support from orientation to graduation and even beyond.
