What you study
- Define Rangatira hauora (holistic wellbeing) with a holistic framework and the connections to physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. Apply strategies to enhance hauora (holistic wellbeing), including approaches to physical, mental, emotional, and social health.
- Use a personal SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors that influence rangatiratanga. Utilise knowledge of SMART goals related to future education and development. Apply knowledge of preparing for employment in a chosen pathway.
- Collaborate effectively with others to plan and design a website using online tools to meet a given brief. Collaborate in a diverse team while developing and testing websites using software development knowledge.
- Use own skills and strengths of rangatiratanga to identify future education and employment pathways into the field of IT Develop social media content which promotes positive awareness, personal wellbeing, self-management, and safe use of digital technology.
Career opportunities
- Graduates will also be able to pathway into employment and work under general supervision in entry-level roles in a variety of fields or they can pursue further education to broaden their skills and knowledge in Level 3 qualifications.

Entry requirements
- Open to students who are 16 - 24 years of age, under Youth Guarantee.
- Applicants must have sufficient competence in the English language to undertake the Programme which is taught and assessed in English.
- This programme is not available for international students.
