NZSE Meet the Tutor: Jatinder Singh, School of Tech

With a professional background in computer science and engineering, Jatinder began his career as a software system analyst before becoming a business analyst and project manager. Inspired by nurturing youthful talent and fostering inclusivity, he embarked on his journey as a tutor at NZSE’s School of Tech in 2022.

I enjoy teaching seeing people grow,” says Jatinder. “When students study with us, they progress in academics; they learn the skills to write reports, to implement codes, to excel in software development; mobile or game development. But they also do an awesome job in developing other skills – soft skills. They develop a sense of how to collaborate, how to work on a team, how to speak confidently in front of other team members, and how to articulate their ideas in front of the team. They understand the culture of others which is relevant in the world of work; so that they can work independently in any of the organisation.
