By 1 January 2025, home-based ECE services are required to employ mainly educators holding an ECE qualification at Level 4 or above (min. 80% of staff must be suitably qualified, and max. 20% of educators can be in training or induction.) For those already in the industry, or those looking to make a start, finding accessible ways to get qualified are crucial.
