Light up your future in programming by combining the cutting-edge resources at NZSE’s Auckland city campus with practical learning. Get on track to develop the next generation of IT hardware, apps, networks and more with our Diploma in IT Software Development (Level 6).
While working with others on team projects, learn the ins-and-outs of app and gaming development. Graduate, equipped with the skills and knowledge to manage IT projects, perform well in developer roles.

Microsoft Fundamentals, Open Edg Python, PMI-ACP, PMI DA Scrum Master.
An optional University Pathway strand can be included, which entails two additional courses (extra 30 credits). This programme and the additional University Pathway strand are designed to meet the requirements for NZSE students to pathway to degree study at Massey University or AUT University.

Entry requirements

- Open entry with interview
- It is recommended that you hold one of the following qualifications:
- NCEA Level 2 or 3 with appropriate credits in mathematics and digital technology subjects, OR
- A qualification in Information Technology at Level 3 or 4 or above, OR possess equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
- This programme requires students to have access to a laptop/desktop that can connect to the internet with a web browser and a required minimum screen size of 10 inches. For device specifications, please talk to your Course Advisor.
- It is recommended that you hold a qualification in Information Technology at Level 3/4 and above, and/or NCEA level 2/3 OR overseas high school certificate
- IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or NZCEL (Academic) Level 4 or equivalent
