If you’re looking to pave the way for a career in healthcare, succeed by upskilling with NZSE’s NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3).
Obtain significant knowledge of healthcare and be equipped with the practical tools you’ll need to thrive as a healthcare worker in the aged care sector. What you study

Understand the role of an aged care professional while developing essential skills and in-depth knowledge for the real-world. You’ll be ready to enhance the general wellbeing of people, whanau, and communities with a focus on the elderly population and cultural sensitivity. During your studies, you will learn:

At the end of your studies you will undertake 100 hours of work placement at an aged care facility or similar working environment. Upon graduation you will be able to work with a minimum pay of $26.94 an hour according to the New Zealand Government’s pay parity agreement (starting from 1 July 2023).
